Mrs Obiano Extols Anambra Electorate For Promoting Good Governance

Wife of the governor of Anambra State and founder of the charity organization, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFE, Dr. Ebelechukwu Obiano has called on Christians to remain steadfast in serving God.

Dr. Mrs. Obiano who stated this while addressing the congregation at the Cathedral Church of Saint Mary, Uruagu Nnewi, during a New Year thanksgiving service said heavenly race is measured on how well one served God and worked for the good of humanity.

She also said that Christians and humanity at large have all the reasons to be grateful to God in the New Year, especially after the global health threats brought by COVID-19, which has claimed the lives of many.

The governor’s wife also said that her husband, Chief Willie Obiano has opened the eyes of people to the fact that leaders should be accountable and that people’s voices should be heard through constructive criticism.

She stated that she has no doubt that Anambra State would continue to grow from strength to strength in the years ahead, and assured that she would continue with her charity works to improve the fortunes of indigent widows, women and children, after the expiration of her husband’s tenure.
