Mrs Mabel Ayinofu Buried At Oba, Idemili South Council Area

A life well lived really calls for celebration.

Little wonder the children of the late Mrs. Mabel Nwabume Ayinofu accorded her a befitting burial at her country home, Uruokokwu Umuogali Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area.

Correspondent Njideka Okoye reports that the burial ceremony, which was attended by dignitaries from within and outside the country, had family members, relations, friends and well-wishers pay their last respect to the deceased.

During a burial service by Christ True Mission Church, presided over by the General Overseer, Bishop Jonathan Anazodo at her compound, the priest in charge, Reverend Okey Nwosisi, urged Christians to x-ray their lives and come to God in total repentance describing the late Mrs. Ayinofu as a committed Christian.

In their remarks, some of her sons, including Mr. Ifediora and Abumchukwu Ayinofu said that their late mother was a good woman, a woman of peace, full of good virtues and promised that all her children will continue to live in peace as they promised her while alive and appreciated those, who came to commiserate with them.

For two of her daughters, Mrs. Obianuji Okonkwo and Mrs. Ifeoma Onyema their mother was a role model and prayer warrior, who devoted her time to service of God and humanity.

Her daughters in-law, Lolo Esther and Sandra Ayinofu said the deceased was a mother to them.

Two of her sons in-law, Chief Frank Okonkwo and Nze Chibuzor Onyema defined their mother in-law as a hard working woman, who trained her children to become affluent members of the society urging them to develop on her legacies.

Others, who spoke at the ceremony, including Chief, Dr. Felix Uzor and Chief Nicholas Nwokoye from Nri among others urged the children of the deceased to be united in Christ.

The burial ceremony featured condolences by the Dynamic International Friends Club and Empire Friends Club Cape Town South Africa, in-laws, relations, friends and well-wishers as well as cultural dances.
