In a harrowing incident that has left the Bradford community reeling, a young woman was brutally stabbed to death while out shopping with a friend, pushing her five-month-old baby in a stroller.
Eyewitnesses recounted the horror of the attack, describing how the 27-year-old victim, of Pakistani descent, was stabbed multiple times in the neck by an assailant who fled the scene, leaving her mortally wounded on the pavement.
Desperate Attempts to Save Victim
Geo Khan, a local fruit and vegetable shop owner, rushed to the victim’s aid upon hearing her screams, but tragically, his efforts to resuscitate her were in vain. Despite his attempts and those of a passing doctor who stopped to assist, the woman succumbed to her injuries.
The scene of the crime, outside the Westgate International Food store, became a focal point for forensic officers and investigators, as they worked tirelessly to gather evidence and piece together the events leading to the fatal attack.

The shocking nature of the stabbing, occurring in broad daylight in a busy shopping area, has left the local community stunned and grief-stricken.
Detectives from West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team launched an extensive manhunt for the suspect, appealing to the public for any information or dashcam footage that could aid in the investigation.
