The 96-year-old monarch is described as “comfortable” after physicians assessed her this morning, hours after they urged her to rest instead of attending a Privy Council meeting last night.

The Queen’s doctors are concerned about Her Majesty’s health and have urged that she remain under medical monitoring, according to a royal spokesperson. The Queen continues to reside in comfort at Balmoral.

It is believed that Prince Charles, Camilla, and Princess Anne are visiting their monarch, whose health appears to have deteriorated this morning. At 4:00 p.m., Prince William led the Duke of York, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, and his wife Sophie off a jet from RAF Northolt in London to Aberdeen.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stated that they were their route to Scotland, but the couple was not on the plane.

However, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, remained behind and was pictured in Windsor picking up George, Charlotte, and Louis after their first full day at their new school.

PM: “The entire nation will be profoundly concerned about Her Majesty.”

Prime Minister Liz Truss stated, “The entire nation will be profoundly troubled by the news from Buckingham Palace this afternoon.”

At this time, my thoughts, along with those of the entire United Kingdom, are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family.

Buckingham Palace disclosed that her “immediate family” was notified, with her heir, the Prince of Wales, and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, coming to her bedside from their Scottish residence Birkhall, around 10 miles from Balmoral.

To be with the 96-year-old monarch, the Duke of Cambridge flew from Windsor.

However, his wife Kate remains at Adelaide Cottage because it is the first full day of school for George, Charlotte, and Louis.

The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, has already arrived in Balmoral this week following an engagement in Scotland.

This afternoon, the Duke of York and the Earl and Countess of Wessex flew up with William.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were supposed to attend the WellChild Awards in London this evening, but their spokesman stated that they are instead traveling to Aberdeenshire as millions of Britons and Her Majesty’s subjects around the globe pray for her health.

It remains unknown how they will get there.

A remark about the monarch’s health is extremely rare and indicative of a dire situation. All of her children, including Prince William and Prince Harry, are either already by her side or on their way, according to analysts.

Nigel Cawthorne, a royal biographer, stated, “It leads us to suspect the situation is far more dire than what we’ve been informed.”

And anxious British citizens have already congregated at the gates of Balmoral to pray and offer their respects for Her Majesty.

Minutes before the Buckingham Palace announcement, the new prime minister, Liz Truss, was informed of the development in the House of Commons, where she was announcing her proposals to cap energy prices for the next two years.

Ms Truss, who was at Balmoral with the Queen on Tuesday when she was sworn in as prime minister, stated that ‘the whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime’ and that’my thoughts – and the thoughts of people across the United Kingdom – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time.

Yesterday, the Queen was advised by doctors to postpone a Privy Council meeting at the last minute. The 96-year-old monarch has been instructed to rest after a busy Tuesday, during which she greeted both Boris Johnson and Liz Truss at Balmoral and performed other light tasks.

And today, Buckingham Palace announced that physicians have been sent to Balmoral in response to this morning’s worries.

Charles was rumored to have made several early trips to his mother during the summer, as she continued to struggle with her mobility, with the unscheduled visits being deemed exceedingly odd.

Today, Nadhim Zahawi briefed Liz Truss on the Queen in the Commons shortly prior to the release of her health-related news.

Prince Charles participated in a roundtable with Natasha Allergy Research Foundation participants yesterday. Charles is visiting Balmoral today.

Prince William, shown yesterday with his wife and children on their first day of school at Lambrook School, is also traveling to Scotland.

This week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed in Germany and are now en route to Scotland.

Her Majesty is at her Scottish residence (seen today) and her staff describes her as “comfortable.”

How the Queen’s health has deteriorated after Prince Philip’s passing.

In June, the Queen attended the Royal Company of Archers Reddendo Parade in the gardens of the Palace of Holyroodhouse while holding a walking stick.

The health of the Queen has been scrutinized throughout the past year, with the monarch being forced to withdraw from major events due to ongoing mobility problems.

She wowed the audience on the first day of her Platinum Jubilee festivities, June 2, when she appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and then at Windsor Castle.

The following day, however, she declined to attend the Platinum Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral, citing ‘discomfort’ amid the previous day’s festivities. It is understood that the choice was deemed unfortunate, but reasonable due to the length of the journey, the time involved, and the physical effort the event would have needed.

While she made a number of in-person visits in the weeks leading up to her Jubilee celebrations, including a surprise visit to open the Elizabeth line and a golf buggy tour of the Chelsea Flower Show, the Queen has suffered from ongoing “episodic mobility problems” since last fall and now uses a cane.

In October 2021, she used a walking stick for the first time at a significant engagement, a service at Westminster Abbey. A week later, following a hectic fall schedule, her physicians instructed her to rest and advised her to cancel a trip to Northern Ireland.

On October 20, 2021, the Queen was surreptitiously admitted to the hospital for ‘preliminary investigations’ and spent the night for the first time in eight years. The following day, she was back at her Windsor desk performing minor chores.

Buckingham Palace stated that she had been urged to continue to rest and not make any official visits after she canceled further high-profile engagements, including the Cop26 climate change meeting and the Festival of Remembrance. She was determined to attend the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph, but a sprained back prevented her from doing so.

She performed only light tasks for more than three months, including virtual and face-to-face audiences within the walls of Windsor Castle.

In February 2022, she celebrated her Platinum Jubilee by visiting with charity workers at Sandringham House and cutting a Jubilee cake, which was her largest public appearance since October.

The country’s longest-reigning monarch commented during a face-to-face audience in February, “Well, as you can see, I can’t move.” This is due to the fact that many of her tasks are now performed via video calls.

There were concerns for her health when she tested positive for Covid on February 20, 2022. The triple-vaccinated Queen experienced mild cold-like symptoms, but stated that the virus rendered her “very fatigued and exhausted.” She performed minimal responsibilities while in seclusion at Windsor, but she canceled some virtual audiences.

In March, she skipped the Commonwealth Day ceremony at Westminster Abbey, an important occasion in the royal calendar given the importance of the international family to her, and she also skipped the Maundy Thursday service. But she rallied to attend a memorial ceremony for the Duke of Edinburgh at the end of March, walking slowly and cautiously with the use of a cane and grasping the Duke of York’s elbow for support.

In May 2022, she skipped the State Opening of Parliament for the first time in nearly 60 years, citing “episodic mobility issues” as the reason. Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge opened parliament on her behalf as Counsellors of State, with Charles for the first time in history reading the Queen’s Speech.

In the past seven months, Buckingham Palace has generally only confirmed the Queen’s participation at engagements on the day of the event, with the decision based on how she feels in the morning. She attended both the Windsor Horse Show in May and the equestrian extravaganza A Gallop Through History near Windsor, the first major event of the Jubilee celebrations.

She also made an unannounced appearance to officially launch the Elizabeth line at Paddington Station, albeit her stay was only 10 minutes long. She also attended the Chelsea Flower Show, where she was driven about in her new high-tech golf buggy for her comfort.
