Miranda Kerr is giving fans a rare glimpse into her co-parenting life with ex Orlando Bloom.

The 42-year-old model and businesswoman, who shares 15-year-old son Flynn with the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, described their arrangement as “harmonious” in a recent podcast interview.

From Romance to Respect

Miranda and Orlando’s story began back in 2007.

They tied the knot in 2010 but decided to go their separate ways three years later.

Despite the breakup, Miranda says she and Orlando approached the situation with mindfulness and mutual respect.

“From day one, Orlando and I had done a lot of spiritual work, and forgiveness was a big part of that,” she explained on Paul C. Brunson’s We Need to Talk podcast.

“Forgiving each other, forgiving ourselves, creating peace within the situation.

We both knew the relationship wasn’t bringing out the best in each other.”

Putting Flynn First

The focus, Miranda stressed, was always their son.

“When we made the decision to separate, I said to him, ‘Let’s always put the needs of Flynn first.

Let’s not make it about us. Let’s make it about what’s best for him,’” she said. Forgiveness and peace, she added, were key to making that co-parenting dynamic work.

A Growing Family

Since her split from Orlando, Miranda has married Evan Spiegel, co-founder of Snapchat, and they now share three children together: Hart, seven; Myles, five; and Pierre, 23 months.

Despite moving on, she wanted her relationship with Orlando to remain as smooth as possible, knowing he would always be Flynn’s dad.

“When you have a child with someone, they’re always going to be that person’s parent for life,” Miranda explained.

“There will be situations when you need to communicate, whether you like it or not.

So why not make it harmonious? Why not make it peaceful?”

Supporting Orlando Through Life Changes

Miranda’s amicable approach extends beyond her own family.

She recently spoke about Orlando’s split from Katy Perry, confirming that the breakup was mutual and peaceful.

“We were celebrating [their daughter] Daisy’s birthday, and I actually just saw them both,” she said.

“We’re one big, happy family. Katy is amazing, I love her.

And Orlando, of course. If you do have animosity, it only hurts yourself.”

A History With Katy

Orlando and Katy’s relationship has been on-and-off since they first linked up at a Golden Globes afterparty in 2016.

Their romance made headlines early on, including a notorious paddle-boarding incident in Sardinia.

Though they broke up in 2017, the couple rekindled their relationship the following year before eventually parting ways amicably.

Harmony as the Guiding Principle

Through all the twists and turns of love, divorce, and blended families, Miranda Kerr’s approach remains consistent: put the children first, forgive, and keep peace at the center of it all.

For Miranda and Orlando, that philosophy seems to be working, keeping their co-parenting relationship strong and their families connected.
