Millie Radford, a member of Britain’s largest family, has caused some concern after hinting that there might be tension during their family trip to Florida.
While vacationing at Disney, the 24-year-old mother of three shared a cryptic Instagram story saying, “Get me home,” followed by a melting face emoji, a symbol commonly used to express being overwhelmed.
Could this be a sign of a brewing feud within the family?
The Radford Family’s Disney Adventure
Millie and her new husband, Harley Passmore, recently jetted off to Florida with their three young children—Chester, two; Ophelia, four; and Elodie, one—along with Millie’s siblings and parents, Sue and Noel Radford.
The family of 22 is known for their frequent trips to the U.S., particularly to Disney resorts.
Over the past couple of years, they’ve visited Florida seven times, making it clear that Disney holds a special place in their hearts.
Sue Radford, the matriarch, shared heartwarming family moments online, posting pictures of her time with her grandchildren, including a meet-and-greet with Donald Duck and shopping for American Girl dolls.
However, Millie’s post seemed to shift the mood, leading some to wonder if there’s more going on behind the scenes.
Tension Between Millie and Her Mother?
This isn’t the first sign of discord between Millie and her mother, Sue.
The pair reportedly had a falling out around two weeks before Millie revealed her third pregnancy in April 2023.
Millie publicly accused Sue and her husband, Noel, of profiting off their grandchildren.
The tension escalated when Millie posted an Instagram story criticizing Sue for promoting a YouTube vlog about a trip to Disney World with her daughter Sophie’s children.
Millie called out her mother for “making money from all your grandchildren” while playing favorites.
Although Millie later shared a video of her baby’s heartbeat, implying that she was navigating personal moments without her mother’s support, it seemed like the two women were trying to mend their relationship by August 2023.
Sue even wished Millie a happy birthday, signaling that they might have put their issues behind them.
A Rocky Start to the Holiday
The Radfords’ Florida vacation didn’t begin smoothly, as Millie and two of her children were denied boarding their flight due to visa issues.
Millie’s ESTA visa, which is required for travel to the U.S., had expired, and her two children didn’t have the proper documentation either.
Fortunately, Millie’s youngest daughter, Elodie, and her husband Harley were able to board the flight.
Noel, Millie’s father, stayed behind to ensure that the family’s paperwork was sorted, delaying his own travel plans.
Millie took to Instagram to share the frustrating situation, reminding her followers to double-check their travel documents.
She expressed gratitude for her father’s help, saying, “My dad has stayed to help me, thank God, because we’ve had to travel hours to another airport from Gatwick.”
Overcoming the Visa Mix-Up
The family’s travel mishap was not ideal, especially with Millie and her children’s ESTA forms being flagged at the airport.
Sue later shared an update on Instagram, describing it as “the absolute worst start” to their holiday but praised the efforts of the TUI check-in staff for going above and beyond to try and help.
Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the issue couldn’t be resolved in time for Millie and her children to board the plane.
Sue expressed her appreciation for the TUI team’s dedication, noting how they kept check-in open until the last minute in hopes of getting Millie and her kids on the flight.
In the end, Noel stayed behind to help sort things out, ensuring that Millie and her children could fly out the next day.
A Glimpse of Hope
Despite the rocky beginning to their trip, Millie posted a more positive update the following day, sharing a story of her mother Sue with Ophelia and writing, “Loves her nana.”
This seemed to suggest that tensions might have eased, at least for the moment.
