Mike Tyson dismisses gorilla’s strength as he claims 100 versions of himself could defeat a silverback in New York City showdown

Mike Tyson has joined the ongoing viral discussion about the unlikely scenario of humans fighting a silverback gorilla, and he has some strong opinions.

According to the boxing legend, if 100 versions of himself faced off against a lone gorilla, the animal wouldn’t stand a chance.

The Viral Silverback Debate

Lately, social media has been buzzing with hypothetical battles between humans and gorillas, specifically exploring the idea of 100 men taking on a single silverback.

Some users have even taken it a step further, creating AI-generated videos depicting these fights.

The question that sparked Tyson’s thoughts came from IFLTV Boxing, where Tyson was asked if a hundred versions of himself would stand a chance against a full-sized gorilla.

Tyson’s Bold Claim

Tyson didn’t hold back. “The gorilla’s gonna get f***ed up,” he said, confidently explaining his point.

“You have to think about it. One hundred of us, right? Twenty at a time, rushing him, biting him, getting him—he’s not going to do well.”

He elaborated, imagining the battle in detail: “We’re gonna stomp his teeth out, kick him in the bls, grab his dk—he’s not going to win that fight.

“I don’t know how to explain it, but 100 of me? No chance for the gorilla.”

Tyson’s Past Attempt to Fight a Gorilla

Tyson’s bold remarks might seem outrageous, but he has a history of testing his limits in the most unexpected ways.

Back in his boxing prime, Tyson tried to take on a gorilla in person.

The incident took place at the Bronx Zoo in New York City, where Tyson allegedly attempted to bribe a worker to let him into the gorilla’s enclosure.

In an interview with The Sun in 2020, Tyson reminisced about the experience: “When we got to the gorilla cage, there was one big silverback bullying all the other gorillas.

“They were so powerful, but their eyes were like an innocent infant’s.”

He continued, “I offered the attendant $10,000 to open the cage and let me smash that silverback’s snotbox. He declined…”

Tyson’s Boxing Career Update

While Tyson might have some unusual ideas about taking on a gorilla, his boxing career is a more serious topic.

Tyson last fought professionally in November 2020 against YouTuber Jake Paul.

At 58 years old, Tyson, much older than Paul, lasted the full eight rounds but ultimately lost in a unanimous decision.

Despite the loss, the fight marked his second match since 2005.

So, what’s next for the former heavyweight champion? Only time will tell.
