Michael Lohan, the father of actress Lindsay Lohan, was arrested in Texas over the weekend on a felony assault charge.
The arrest stems from an alleged incident where Lohan is accused of flipping his wife, Kate Major, out of her chair.

Kate Major, who was undergoing a medical examination at the time, reportedly shared details of the alleged assault with law enforcement officers.
She claimed that Michael had physically thrown her out of her chair at their home.
The incident left Major in pain and discomfort, which she communicated to the deputies investigating the matter.
Deputies and Arrest Follow-Up
A female deputy who responded to the scene observed bruising on Major’s body.
Following this, deputies spoke with Michael Lohan, who was arrested without any resistance at his residence.
He was then booked on the felony charge.
Lohan’s Upcoming Court Appearance
Lohan, 64, is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, with a bond set at $30,000.
The case has sparked attention, considering Michael’s previous public history and his relationship with his famous daughter, Lindsay Lohan.
