In a bittersweet blend of tribute and tease, Meghan Markle recently resurfaced on social media to share a heartfelt moment with her late dog, Guy—while also dropping a not-so-subtle hint about what fans can expect from the next season of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan.
Meghan, known for balancing personal storytelling with picture-perfect visuals, posted a nostalgic springtime video on Instagram.
But this wasn’t just any throwback—it was a quiet, floral farewell to Guy, her beloved rescue beagle who passed away earlier this year.
Flower Arranging with a Touch of Nostalgia
The short clip showed Meghan in her element, arranging delicate blooms while Guy buzzed around her feet.
Set to the vintage charm of “Lollipop” by The Chordettes, the video was captioned:
“Flower arranging with Guy last spring.
Just wait til you see what I’ve been cooking up this year! More soon.”
It was a rare, casual glimpse into Meghan’s life, as she carefully trimmed pale roses and lush greenery, crafting a gorgeous floral display with her late companion loyally nearby.
Remembering Guy: A Loyal Friend Through It All
Meghan also opened up about Guy’s story earlier this year, following his passing.
She first adopted him in 2015 from a shelter in Kentucky, where he had just days to live.
“He had been at a kill shelter… so small and frail, they called him ‘the little guy.’
I named him Guy,” she wrote.
Guy had been by her side through some of life’s biggest moments—from her Suits days to her engagement, marriage, and even her transition into motherhood.
“He was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort.”
A Fighter Until the End
Guy’s journey wasn’t without hardship. Before Meghan moved to the UK, Guy suffered a terrible accident.
At one point, doctors believed he would never walk again.
But thanks to veterinary specialist Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick—known to many as The Supervet—Guy defied the odds.
Meghan and Harry often visited him late at night during his long recovery in Surrey.
Meghan recalled, “I will always be grateful… Thank you for loving him so.”
Mourning in the Most Human Way
In her emotional tribute, Meghan described her grief with raw honesty.
“I’ve cried too many tears to count… the type of tears that make you get in the shower, hoping the water hides them.
But they are there. And that’s okay too.”
She ended her message with a simple but powerful note:
“Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy.
You filled my life in ways you’ll never know.”
Teasing Season Two: What Has Meghan Been “Cooking Up”?
While the Instagram post was deeply personal, it also hinted at what’s to come—specifically, the second season of her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan.
The show, which debuted in March from inside a luxurious $8 million rental near her Montecito home, combined personal reflections with curated lifestyle advice. Critics weren’t overly kind.
It was labeled “smug, syrupy, and endlessly spoofable” by The Times, and The Telegraph didn’t hold back either, calling it “an exercise in narcissism.”
But the Audience Still Tuned In
Despite the criticism, With Love, Meghan found an audience—quickly landing in Netflix’s Top 10 most-watched list.
In fact, the streamer didn’t hesitate to renew it.
They believe, in their own words, “there’s more joy to be shared.”
Filming for Season Two has already wrapped, and it’s expected to hit screens this autumn.
If Meghan’s Instagram is anything to go by, we can expect a mix of emotion, elegance, and maybe a few more floral moments.
A Personal Lens on Public Life
Love her or not, Meghan’s content blends lifestyle with raw emotion—and this latest clip reminded followers of the softer, more reflective side of her life.
Whether Season Two can win over critics remains to be seen.
But if it captures even a hint of the honesty she showed in saying goodbye to Guy, viewers might see a very different Duchess this time around.
