Meghan Markle posts a loving message for Prince Harry from Montecito as he continues his work at the Invictus Games in Canada

Meghan Markle may be miles away from Prince Harry this Valentine’s Day, but that didn’t stop her from celebrating their love in a heartfelt way.

The Duchess of Sussex shared a touching black-and-white photo of herself kissing Harry on Instagram, accompanied by a loving caption.

Back home in Montecito with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Meghan expressed just how much she was missing her husband, who remains in Canada for the Invictus Games.

“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families,” she wrote.

She went on to express her pride in Harry’s work and added a sentimental note: “My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever.

Thank you for you.” She signed off with ‘M’ and included the hashtag #lovewins.

Meghan’s Quick Trip Home

Just a few days earlier, Meghan was spotted arriving back in California after leaving the Invictus Games early.

Photographed stepping off a private jet at Santa Barbara Airport, she was dressed casually in a blue jumper with white lettering, accompanied only by a security guard.

Her return had been planned in advance, as she initially intended to stay in Vancouver and Whistler for just five days, much like she did during the 2023 Invictus Games in Germany.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry took a short break after Meghan’s departure, reportedly spending a day unwinding before resuming his engagements at the Games.

Celebrating Love in Different Ways

While Meghan and Harry are spending Valentine’s Day apart, another royal couple also made headlines with their own romantic gesture.

Prince William and Princess Kate marked the holiday with a rare public display of affection.

They shared a serene and intimate photo taken during the summer at Sandringham Estate, set against a picturesque woodland backdrop.

The image was first featured in Kate’s emotional September video announcing that she had completed chemotherapy.

This sweet moment came after what Prince William described as a “brutal” year.

Speaking during a trip to South Africa for the Earthshot Prize, he acknowledged the difficulties of 2024, calling it “probably the hardest year in my life.”

The Wales family faced significant challenges, including Kate undergoing preventative chemotherapy following a cancer diagnosis in January 2024.

Around the same time, King Charles also revealed he was undergoing cancer treatment.

What’s Next?

As Harry continues his work at the Invictus Games and Meghan enjoys time with their children in Montecito, royal watchers are eager to see what’s next for the Sussexes.

Whether they reunite for a special celebration later or share more glimpses into their love story, one thing is clear—distance isn’t stopping Meghan from showing just how much she cherishes her Valentine.
