Mega ATV Championship Season VII Kick Starts by Autosports India

From the 11th to the 15th of May, 2022, Autosports India hosted a grand racing competition called “Mega ATV Championship” Season VII, as well as a racing competition called Overlander Off-Road Adventure & Autocross in Goa, where nearly 65 teams (Category Combustion and Electric), 12 Teams for Overlander, and 32 Teams for Autocross from all over India competed and tested their vehicle projects. The Mega ATV Championship has focused on real-life challenges such as disaster management and defense using All-Terrain-Vehicles (ATVs), engineering design manufacturing racing, and utility-based competitions in which participants from all over the country must design and fabricate an ATV and use it to serve mankind after proving their authority at the Mega ATV Championship.

All of the vehicles are built by engineering students at various technical universities. These projects are put to the test in accordance with Autosports India’s motorsports standards.

The technical inspection process begins with a safety test, followed by an engine inspection, brake test, light and visibility test, and an overall vehicle test. The race is famous for its unique format, which includes a drag race, a flat dirt race, an Armageddon race, and the most popular night endurance race.

The following is a list of winners who finished on the podium: ATV A Team SparkX Racing, Silver Oak University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, was named overall winner and champion.

Redshift Racing India, K.J.Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai, came in second overall. CEG Motorsports, Guindy College of Engineering, came in second place overall. ATV category (electric) Overall Champion – St. Joseph Engineering College’s Team eSJEC Racing Team Redline Racing, Kammavari Sangham Group of Institutions, came in second place overall.

M.S. Ramiah Institute of Technology’s Team Volante came in second place overall. The event is well-known for its unique format and production; it took place on a 900-acre track with an approximate 8.5-kilometer total track length, making it India’s largest off-road racing track.

The track is a speedway designed to be used in a professional rally format. Off-Road Adventure for Overlanders – The Overlander Off-Road Adventure 2022 is an all-new concept of driving on a professional 8.5-kilometer off-road race track in Goa with a mesmerizing beachside view for all Off-Road lovers, motorsports enthusiasts, and owners of any type of car, including SUV/SEDAN/HATCHBACK in both categories (2WD, 4WD).

Autosports India has been organizing various Off-Road events across India since 2015.

This is an opportunity for the driving community and enthusiasts to follow their hearts and put their driving skills and vehicles to the test on an Off-Road race track that is sure to get the blood pumping. Mountain Off-Road Drive (in a closed circuit), Armageddon Challenge (44), and Autocross are all part of the event. With his Jeep Wrangler Rubicon392, Mr. Vikas Verma of Pune has taken the lead in the lineup.

Autosports India Autocross- Autocross is a closed circuit loop of 800 meters for professional autocross drivers. There were 32 entries, and the event ran from 11:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. on May 15, 2022. Vehicles in all categories are 800 CC-1000 CC, 1301-1600 CC, Unrestricted, Suv Class, and Indian Open. The following is the order in which the podium was completed by category.

Indian Open is a tournament held in India. Mohd. Fazal Admani was the winner. Umesh Rane won the SUV class.
