BREAKING: Man Utd player, Mason Greenwood seen for the first time after his arrest

Mason Greenwood, a Manchester United striker, has been spotted in Cheshire for the first time since being detained on suspicion of rape and assault by Greater Manchester Police.

The young forward was detained earlier this year after a lady, believed to be his girlfriend Harriet Robson, posted a series of photographs and an audio tape on social media.

Manchester United issued a statement quickly distancing themselves from their youth academy graduate, stating that they ‘absolutely not condone any type of violence.’

The official Manchester United website has removed all products featuring the No 11’s name, and other teammates have unfollowed him on Instagram.

Greenwood wore a black balaclava over his face while driving a fancy Mercedes-Benz CLA.
