…By Lola Smith for TDPel Media. Janice Dickinson, the supermodel, is leaving the all-star version of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… South Africa earlier than planned.
The episode featuring her dramatic exit is scheduled to air on Monday, May 8. Her statement will be read out to her fellow campmates in the episode.
The cause of her early departure is a fall in camp, according to reports.
In a first look at Monday night’s episode, Helen Flanagan reads a Bush Bulletin with news from an absent Janice.
In the letter, Janice thanks her campmates and refers to them as her new BFFs.
She says she’ll miss them until she sees them again, and sends kisses to all.
The letter also contained a joke aimed at Joe.
Janice’s exit saddened the other campmates, with Helen saying that they will all miss her.
Joe mentioned that he and Janice had a slight argument the previous day but got along well otherwise.
Fatima was also saddened by Janice’s departure but expressed pleasure that she is doing well.
I’m A Celebrity… South Africa is continuing tonight on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm.
Commentary:
Janice Dickinson’s early exit from I’m A Celebrity… South Africa is unfortunate, but it is good to know that she is doing okay.
Although she is an all-star, Janice appears to have made new friends in the camp, as evidenced by her letter.
It will be interesting to see how the remaining campmates cope with her departure, as well as how the show continues.
It is a reminder that accidents can happen, even on a reality TV show.
