A new guy was seen making his entry as narrator Iain Stirling introduced the preview for Sunday night’s program, who, while not officially verified by Love Island, is thought to be rugby player Jacques O’Neill.

International dressage rider Gemma was heard telling the others that the bombshell was her ex-boyfriend, which made viewers’ shocked.

While people wait for the official confirmation that the bombshell is, in fact, Jacques, a post on his Instagram account read: ‘It’s official!!!’ Jacques has hung his boot for love and in entering the @loveisland villa. #Love #LoveIsland.’

Who’s ex is the new bombshell on Love Island?

A new guy was seen making his way into the villa in the trailer for Sunday night’s episode.

‘Oh my god,’ Gemma could be heard saying as the females saw him enter from afar. Someone yelled, ‘S**t!’ in disbelief at the big reveal, ‘That’s my ex-boyfriend.’

It’s presently unknown when Gemma and Jacques dated or how long they were together… But, just like when Jack Fincham’s ex-girlfriend Ellie Jones joined the group in the 2018 season, we suspect the newcomer’s romantic history will be a gamechanger.

Furthermore, many fans believe that the rugby player’s arrival will eventually reveal to the other islanders that Michael Owen is Gemma’s father.
