Sam Ohuabunwa, head of the Ohuabunwa family and former president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), made a public announcement about the tragic event on a Monday, disclosing that the entire Ohuabunwa family was in mourning.
The official statement conveyed the sorrowful message, “With a heart laden with grief and complete acceptance of God’s will, the entire Ohuabunwa family declares the sad demise of Lady Barr.
“Nimi Faith Ohuabunwa, beloved wife of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.
“Her departure occurred on the 22nd of July, 2023.
“May her kind spirit find eternal peace.”
Remembering Lady Nimi Ohuabunwa
Senator Mao Ohuabunwa paid a glowing tribute to his wife during her last birthday celebration on March 23, 2023.
He described her as not only a “true companion” but also as a great inspiration in his life.
Characterizing her as an invaluable gem, the Senator further noted her exceptional qualities as the best companion, a wise counselor, and a source of motivation.
Additionally, Ohuabunwa, who also served as the former leader of the ECOWAS Parliament, acclaimed her as a “woman of excellence, caring wife and mother, endowed with a milk of human kindness.”
