I’ll be honest right from the start—I’m not a horse girl.
The idea of bonding with a pony or spending hours grooming one doesn’t exactly thrill me.
In fact, whenever I’ve seen mounted police trotting down Oxford Street, I tend to make a very swift exit in the opposite direction.
Horses and I? We’re not really on the same page.
The City Life Is My Comfort Zone
The thought of swapping London’s bustling streets for a quiet countryside retreat feels almost impossible.
I love the chaos, the energy, the unpredictable rhythm of the city.
The idea of waking up to fields instead of streetlights or quiet mornings instead of sirens just doesn’t appeal.
London has a pulse that I can’t imagine leaving behind.
Running From Stereotypes
There’s a certain stereotype about city dwellers yearning for pastoral peace, but that’s not me.
While I appreciate the idea of nature and open spaces, the reality of giving up the urban life feels like trading excitement for silence—and I’m not ready for that kind of trade-off.
I’ll stick to city adventures, dodging horses on Oxford Street when necessary, thank you very much.
