Eight-year-old Ada Bicakci and her five-year-old brother were out cycling with their father when disaster struck.
A double-decker bus veered off the road, mounted the pavement, and hit Ada, leaving her with life-threatening injuries.
Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, she passed away two days later on August 5, 2024.
Bus Driver Charged in Connection to the Incident
Months after the heartbreaking accident in Bexleyheath, southeast London, authorities have now charged 23-year-old bus driver Martin Asolo-Agogua.
He faces charges of causing death by dangerous driving while under the influence of drugs, as well as exceeding the legal drug limit while driving.
Following his arrest, he was granted bail but is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on March 24.
Remembering Ada: A Little Girl With a Big Heart
