Live Broadcast on S4C Leaves Presenter Elin Fflur Red-Faced After Husband Jason Rusell Harvey Attempts to Dodge Camera in Their Anglesey Residence

Sometimes, live television reminds us just how unpredictable—and hilarious—it can be.

That was certainly the case for TV presenter Elin Fflur, who found herself in an unexpectedly funny situation during a live interview from her own home.

Elin, 41, was stuck at her house in Anglesey due to snowy roads, so she dialed into S4C’s Heno from home.

Little did she know, her husband had other plans—or at least a very creative way to avoid being on camera.

Husband’s Stealthy Attempt Backfires

As Elin chatted with co-host Owain Tudur Jones, eagle-eyed viewers spotted her husband, Jason Rusell Harvey, crawling across the floor in the background.

The former Llanfairpwll FC footballer, married to Elin since 2012, was clearly trying to dodge the camera—but the attempt backfired spectacularly, providing viewers with a moment of pure amusement.

Elin laughed off the incident, explaining her predicament: “Where better to be stuck? It’s lovely here. I was hoping to travel from the north to the south today, but the roads made it impossible.”

Meanwhile, Jason continued his floor-level escapade behind her.

Live TV Magic: Laughter Ensues

Owain couldn’t resist commenting on the moment: “You don’t need to apologise, Elin. Hopefully I’ll be with you tomorrow, and we can laugh at the clip of Jason crawling by the piano.”

Heno later shared the hilarious clip online with the caption, “Nid ci, nid cath, ond Jason… O, ni’n caru teledu byw”, which translates to, “Not a dog, not a cat, but Jason… Oh, we love live telly.”

Fans quickly joined in the fun. One joked, “Looks like he’s auditioning for Mission Impossible.”

Another wondered, “What game is he playing?” while a third simply chimed in: “What a joke!”

Going Viral Without Trying

When Elin returned to the studio the next day, she reflected on the incident with a smile.

Owain teased: “Jason—or Spiderman, or a crab as I like to call it—he’s gone viral, Elin.”

Elin laughed: “I’ve been trying to go viral for years, and he just did it in one crawl. It was definitely a moment!”

This isn’t the first time live TV has delivered unexpected comedy, proving that some of the best moments are entirely unplanned.

When Hollywood Flubs Happen Too

Live TV doesn’t just trip up local presenters—Hollywood stars have their moments too.

Back in November 2025, actor Nick Offerman accidentally caused a stir on Sunday Brunch.

Promoting his new book, Little Woodchucks, Nick casually dropped a swear word while discussing his childhood fears, leaving hosts scrambling to recover.

Nick reflected on his younger self: “I called my dad and I said, ‘Dad, I’m sorry for the last four or five years. I’ve been quite a real t**t.’”

The presenters’ shocked reactions didn’t go unnoticed, prompting Tim to quickly cover: “You can’t! I must apologise for that, but carry on… He is American.”

It was another reminder that live TV, no matter where in the world, can always deliver unscripted—and unforgettable—moments.
