Licton Springs detectives investigate man’s death

A man was discovered dead in North Seattle on Sunday evening, prompting an investigation by detectives.

A probable overdose was reported at 10:26 p.m. at a residence in the 12200 block of Aurora Avenue North. The 33-year-old male victim appears to have acquired an assault-related injury upon further inquiry. The Seattle Fire Department medics judged it was impossible to save the victim’s life and pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Crime Site Investigation Unit of the Seattle Police Department responded to process the scene for evidence.

Additionally, homicide detectives responded and will continue their investigation.
