Among the stunned onlookers, a mother pushing a pram was seen hastily making her way out of harm’s way.
As the fight intensified, she rushed to protect her baby while the street echoed with loud screams and shouts.
Video footage of the shocking incident captured the distressing moment as half a dozen men engaged in a wild brawl, hurling fists and kicks in every direction.

Spectators watched in horror as the fight escalated, with one man even wielding a long metal pole.
At one point, a woman was knocked into a green roadworks barrier as the aggressive scuffle raged on.
Loud crashes rang through the air as another fighter was repeatedly struck with the pole, adding to the sheer chaos of the scene.

Construction workers in hard hats and high-visibility vests, who had been working nearby, attempted to intervene in the escalating situation.

A young woman watching the incident could be heard exclaiming, “They are moving nuts! They are still going at it?”

The Metropolitan Police confirmed they responded to reports of a fight on Lewisham High Street at 2:49 PM on Monday, February 24.
However, by the time officers arrived, the individuals involved had already fled the scene.
No injuries were reported, and no arrests were made.
Authorities are now appealing for anyone with footage or information regarding the incident to come forward.
