Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) announces the deadline for the submission of entries for participation in Y2022 Lagos State Tree Planting Day Art Competition

The deadline for submission of entries for the Y2022 Lagos State Tree Planting Day Art Competition for schoolchildren has been set for July 31, 2022, according to the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK).

Participants are asked to draw, paint, or collage any piece of artwork that represents their interpretation of the Y2022 Lagos State Tree Planting Day Theme: “In Harmony with Nature,” according to a statement issued by the General Manager of LASPARK, Mrs. Adetoun Popoola.

Participants would also be required to report three ways Lagosians may live in peace with environment, the speaker continued.

She stated that all participants had to be Lagos residents between the ages of three and sixteen, and that submissions had to be sent to laspark@lagosstate.gov.ng with the following information: name, age, parents’ phone number, LG/LCDA of residence, and school name.

“Deadline for submission is July 31, 2022, and participants are enjoined to adhere to the rules and theme of the competition. Parents and guardians are not allowed to assist them with the task”, she stated.

Popoola further stated that winners will be notified in August and there would be a variety of prizes available.
