As the former governor of Anambra, Obi took to his official Twitter page to offer his condolences to the bereaved family.
He revealed that Esther had been a strong advocate for good governance and had wholeheartedly supported the vision of a new Nigeria.
Alongside his message, Obi shared pictures of Esther, capturing her dedication and commitment.
In his heartfelt tribute, Obi stated, “I am saddened by the painful news of the death of Mrs. Esther Nnenna Obasi, who died while on her routine morning exercise, in Jos.
Esther was a firm promoter of good governance.
She strongly believed, supported, and looked forward to the coming of a New Nigeria.”
