…By Dorcas Funmi for TDPel Media. In a move to substantiate their claim of a ‘stolen mandate,’ the Labour Party stormed the presidential election tribunal on Friday, June 9, with HD TV, intending to present evidence.

The tribunal had already admitted some of the evidence they brought concerning the 2023 presidential election.
The party plans to present video recordings of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, assuring the public that the electoral results would be transmitted electronically.
They also have other video evidence to present on the HD TV.
This recent development has elicited mixed reactions among Nigerians.
Some expressed skepticism about the efficacy of going to court, while others maintained hope for a just outcome.
The anticipation and tension surrounding the proceedings were evident in the online comments made by individuals who closely followed the news.

As the legal battle unfolds, opinions on the credibility of the system and the motivations behind the actions of various political actors become increasingly divided.
Some individuals cast doubt on the integrity of the court system, suggesting that the outcome may not align with expectations.
Others passionately argued for the preservation of justice and urged the return of any stolen mandates.
Nigerians expressed their frustration with the pervasive corruption in the country, where the truth often seems irrelevant in the face of prevailing lies.
Many skeptically viewed the ongoing legal proceedings as a futile exercise, asserting that powerful figures like Tinubu would not easily relinquish their hold on power.
Despite the prevailing doubts, others emphasized the importance of due process and the rule of law.
They recognized that both the Labour Party and the All Progressives Congress (APC), along with the INEC, would present their respective cases and evidence before the tribunal.
These individuals urged that the legal process be allowed to run its course, with the hope that justice would prevail in the end.
