LabCentral teams up with C10 Labs to launch AI BioHub Accelerator program in Cambridge Massachusetts helping TechBio founders advance artificial intelligence driven biological research

Life sciences and biotech entrepreneurs looking to merge artificial intelligence with biology now have a new opportunity to accelerate their ventures.

LabCentral, the Boston-area nonprofit known for nurturing high-potential startups, has teamed up with Cambridge-based venture fund and studio, C10 Labs, to launch applications for the Spring 2026 cohort of the AI BioHub Accelerator.

The program kicks off on March 19, 2026, and wraps up in early June.

A Program Designed for Early-Stage TechBio Ventures

The AI BioHub Accelerator is specifically tailored for startups working at the crossroads of AI and life sciences.

Over ten weeks, participating teams gain access to a rich curriculum blending AI and biotech expertise, hands-on wet lab facilities, office space, and mentorship from industry leaders.

Startups also receive fractional AI expert support to help build and scale their technology infrastructure effectively.

Application Details and Deadlines

Applications are now open and can be submitted here.

The deadline to apply is Monday, March 9, 2026.

Teams that get accepted should be prepared to attend weekly in-person sessions in Cambridge, MA, ensuring at least one member is on-site.

What Founders Can Gain

The Spring 2026 cohort aims to help early-stage founders refine AI-enabled biological research, sharpen venture strategies, build critical AI infrastructure, and lay the foundation for company formation and scaling.

Ideal applicants are smaller startups with a clear mission to advance human health through innovative technologies.

Backed by a $1.9 Million Sector Spark Grant

This second cohort is made possible thanks to a $1.9 million Sector Spark Grant awarded to LabCentral by the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative in 2025.

With these funds, LabCentral established a dedicated AI BioHub laboratory equipped with next-generation tools.

Together with C10 Labs, they successfully ran the first AI BioHub Accelerator program, which concluded in September 2025.

Success from the Inaugural Cohort

The first cohort selected 15 early-stage TechBio teams, with 13 completing the program.

These startups showcased their work at Brilliant Collisions, an event attended by over 150 industry partners, venture capitalists, and pharmaceutical executives.

Impressively, these teams have collectively raised over $8 million, and six of them earned Golden Tickets for LabCentral residency, each valued at $50,000, to continue developing their ventures.

Looking Ahead

With the Spring 2026 cohort, LabCentral and C10 Labs hope to continue building momentum for AI-driven life sciences startups.

For emerging founders ready to take their AI and biotech ideas to the next level, this program offers mentorship, resources, and a launchpad to turn innovation into impact.
