Kuwait reports 2,820 new COVID-19 cases, two deaths

KUWAIT, 9th January, 2022 – Kuwait has reported 2,820 new COVID-19 cases and two new deaths in the past 24 hours.

The state news agency KUNA quoted the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health as saying that the new cases took the total caseload to 430,920, and death toll to 2,471.

The ministry added that 313 patients have recovered from the virus over the past day, raising the total recoveries to 413,309.
