Kim Kardashian Serves on Jury Pool for Murder Trial

Kim Kardashian, 42, served on the jury pool for a murder trial in Van Nuys, California this week.

She was not selected to be a juror or alternate in the case.

Kardashian has been studying to become a lawyer for the past few years, and passed the Baby Bar exam in December 2021.

Kim Kardashian served her civic duty this week by serving on the jury pool for a murder trial in Van Nuys, California.

The reality star was seen at the Van Nuys Courthouse on Thursday, where she mingled with other potential jurors and was seen taking in snacks during breaks in the proceedings.

Kardashian was accompanied into the court by a bodyguard who sat next to her throughout the proceedings, an eyewitness said.

On Thursday, she was donning a fancy ensemble of a sleeveless white blouse with leather pants and high boots.

Kardashian was excused after court adjourned on Thursday, with the prosecution and defense coming to an agreement on 12 jury members and four alternate members.

Kardashian had members of her Hulu crew filming, as she was seen boarding an SUV in the parking lot of the courthouse and departing.

Kardashian has been passionate about criminal justice and the law for some time now, and has been studying to become a lawyer for the past few years.

She has also focused her efforts toward criminal justice reform, and was instrumental in the 2018 prison release of Alice Marie Johnson, following a pardon from then-President Donald Trump.

In December 2021, Kardashian passed the Baby Bar exam, which is a prerequisite for taking the California Bar Exam.

Kardashian’s service on the jury pool is a reminder that even celebrities are not above serving their civic duty.
