Fox News personality Kat Timpf, who’s currently pregnant, recently shared some of the shocking and hurtful comments she’s received about her baby bump.
Despite being well into her third trimester, the 36-year-old has continued working on-air, leading to a flood of unwelcome advice and opinions from viewers.
Timpf Hits Back at Unsolicited Advice
On Monday, after receiving a wave of online criticism, Kat took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the situation.
“Hi everyone!” she wrote, responding to the many unsolicited comments about her pregnancy.
Her due date had just passed, and while she remains under the care of her doctor, she made it clear that random strangers on the internet had no right to tell her how to handle her pregnancy.
Timpf continued, saying, “I promise that both of us know and care far more about my health and the health of my own baby than any random online stranger does from just seeing me on TV.”
She also expressed frustration about being bombarded with comments on everything from the size of her belly to concerns about her “amniotic fluid.”
In her post, she told followers, “I don’t need to be bombarded with comments about how my belly looking this way or that way clearly means I will be needing this or that.”
Dealing With Unwanted Opinions
Kat didn’t stop there. She also responded to the idea that she shouldn’t be working during her pregnancy.
“Or how I shouldn’t be at work…” she wrote, addressing the critics who believed she should be taking time off.
Despite the barrage of comments, she made sure to end her post on a positive note, saying, “See you all tonight!” before appearing on Gutfeld! as scheduled.
The Fox News star also admitted that while she usually brushes off the hate, some comments can still sting.
She revealed to The US Sun that sometimes these remarks do get to her, though she’s learned to laugh it off.
Now if I need to get engagement up on my video I just need to wear a crop top and I’ll have people calling me horrible and disgusting,” she joked.
Timpf’s Sense of Humor Amidst Criticism
In a video she filmed last week, Kat humorously addressed the situation, saying, “Yes, I’m still pregnant.
Yes, I’m past my due date. Yes, this is the longest pregnancy of all time.”
She went on to explain that she’s been doing everything she can, like trying dates and pineapples to induce labor, all while continuing her work. “Yes, I’m still working.
No, I don’t want to stop working,” she added with a smile.
Despite the online trolls, she kept her tone light-hearted.
In fact, one fan joked about Kat potentially going into labor while on Gutfeld!, to which she replied, “Tell you what, you going into labor on Gutfeld is gonna be one epic episode.”
Mixed Reactions From the Public
Of course, not all comments were negative. While some trolls called her a “drama queen” or criticized her for not giving birth already, others rallied behind her, showing support.
“Love you!! You’ve got this,” wrote Meghan McCain, daughter of the late John McCain, offering her encouragement.
As Kat continues her pregnancy, it’s clear she’s got a thick skin and a strong sense of humor in the face of online negativity.
It remains to be seen whether she’s given birth yet, as she posted her most recent updates just days ago.
DailyMail.com reached out to Fox News for further details, but as of now, it seems Timpf is keeping fans updated as she navigates both her pregnancy and the internet’s opinions.
