Ricky Joseph made a bold assertion at the jersey launch, claiming that Kaizer Chiefs outsold Orlando Pirates in jersey sales last season, even though Chiefs didn’t secure any silverware.
Joseph, who was joined by Jessica Motaung at the event, stated, “Kaizer Chiefs sold double the jerseys compared to Orlando Pirates, despite not winning any trophies.”
He emphasized the strength of the Chiefs’ brand, saying, “Kaizer Chiefs is a major force in South Africa and Africa.
Our fans are loyal and won’t be swayed by a few setbacks, but we do need to start delivering results.”
