The state government of Kano has ordered the closure of Noble Kids Academy, a private school in Kwanar Dakata, Nassarawa Local Government Area, where the body of an abducted girl, Hanifa Abubakar, was buried by detained suspects.

The body of a five-year-old girl who was taken by her instructor, Abdulmalik, in November 2021 at Kwanar Dakata in the capital, was recovered in a private school.

Despite receiving part of the N6 million ransom demanded, the teacher and his group killed and buried the kid.

Kano Commissioner for Education, Muhammad Kiru announced closure of the school. He also said the state government would commence investigation of unregistered private schools and teachers to check such criminal activities.
Parents whose children attend the private school, have been asked to stop them from doing so pending the completion of investigation.
