Edson’s agent, Mauricio Andrade, recently confirmed that the 30-year-old has signed a one-year contract extension with the club, with an option for a further year.
Andrade shared, “I can confirm that Edson will stay for another season, having renewed his contract with Chiefs.
He is happy with the extension and excited for the future with the team.”
He also mentioned that Castillo is eager to contribute to the club’s success, saying, “Edson is committed to helping the team win trophies, and he’s looking forward to his time with Chiefs in the years ahead.”
