Kaizer Chiefs supporters have reason to be excited about the future, especially after the recent performance of Wandile Duba.
The young striker has been playing a crucial role in Amakhosi’s success, especially following his standout performance against Stellenbosch FC last Wednesday.
Wandile Duba’s Impact on the Field
In that match, Kaizer Chiefs secured a 2-1 victory, and much of the credit went to Duba, who scored both goals.
What made this game even more thrilling was the shift in Duba’s role on the field.
Coach Nasreddine Nabi made a tactical change, moving Ashley Du Preez to the wing while placing Duba at the center of the attack.
The result was a perfect match for Duba, who proved his value by scoring two vital goals.
When asked whether Duba would continue in this new striker role, Nabi confirmed with a smile, “Yes, if he continues to score goals, then he will play there.”
Fans can definitely look forward to more of Duba’s exciting performances if he keeps delivering results like this.
Kaizer Chiefs Prepare for Golden Arrows at Moses Mabhida Stadium
Looking ahead, Kaizer Chiefs are gearing up for their next match on Sunday, 12 January, against Golden Arrows.
However, this game will not take place at their usual home ground, FNB Stadium.
Instead, the club has decided to celebrate their 55th anniversary by taking the match to Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The kick-off is scheduled for 15:30.
This decision comes after a successful midweek win at FNB Stadium, where Chiefs fought back to defeat Stellenbosch FC 2-1.
Duba’s brace earned him the man of the match award and played a significant part in the victory.
Chiefs have now collected 18 points from 12 matches, sitting comfortably in 5th position on the league table.
Golden Arrows, on the other hand, are in 9th place with 15 points from 11 matches, and they’ll be hoping to challenge Kaizer Chiefs in what promises to be an exciting clash.
