Johnny Depp jokes with child about finger Amber Heard

While hundreds of adoring fans surrounded Johnny Depp following a performance on Thursday night, he joked about the finger he alleges Amber Heard cut.

The actor, 58, has been in England on tour with musician Jeff Beck and made an appearance at his friend’s show at Sage Gateshead in the north of England on Thursday night.

Heard countersued him for $100 million, claiming that Depp’s lawyer, Adam Waldman, made defamatory statements about her claims, referring to them as a “hoax.”

Depp won the suit and was awarded $15 million in damages, including $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.

Heard won only one of her three countersuit claims, which were based on statements made by Depp’s lawyer implying that she and her friends trashed their apartment before calling the cops.

She was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages out of the $100 million she sought in her countersuit against her ex-husband, but no punitive damages were awarded.

Later, the judge reduced Depp’s $5 million punitive damages award to the Virginia maximum of $350,000, bringing Depp’s total to $10,350,000 – minus the $2 million he was ordered to pay Heard.

Depp will walk away from the case with $8.35 million.

He declined to hear the verdict in person, which was announced on Wednesday at the Fairfax County Circuit Courthouse in Fairfax, Virginia.

Instead, he went out for drinks with Beck and fellow musician Sam Fender at Newcastle’s The Bridge Tavern before returning to the stage the next day to support the English guitarist on tour.
