Before hiring a divorce lawyer, Joe Jonas was sighted without his wedding ring, indicating that he and Sophie Turner are “headed for divorce.”
According to reports, Jonas, 34, has met with two solicitors in the Los Angeles region.
He and Turner, 27, allegedly had’serious troubles’ for six months.
In recent weeks, he has alternated wearing and not wearing his wedding ring in public.
Since Joe Jonas has been frequently photographed without his wedding band lately, it is believed that he is getting ready to divorce Sophie Turner.
According to People, the 34-year-old Jonas Brothers singer has also reportedly hired a divorce lawyer.
At least as early as August 11, Jonas was observed running errands in Manhattan’s West Village while sporting a bare left ring finger.
The couple wed twice in 2019; the first ceremony occurred as an unplanned Las Vegas wedding the evening following the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.
The artist and actor had been speaking with divorce attorneys, according to a prior TMZ report.
He was allegedly getting ready to file divorce papers, according to sources familiar with the issue.
He was spotted in New York City on August 11 wearing a laid-back black T-shirt and matching shorts that displayed his muscular, inked body.
He wore a black baseball cap, tinted spectacles, and had a Puma shopping bag in his hands.
He had a relatively unassuming appearance.
He didn’t have the band he usually wore to remember his marriage to Sophie on his left ring finger.
‘Serious difficulties’ have reportedly been occurring between Joe and the 27-year-old Game of Thrones actor for the past six months.
According to sources who spoke to the publication, Joe has been solely responsible for parenting in recent months.
They claimed that for the previous three months, he had been providing ‘very much all of the time’ care for their two young children, Willa, age three, and a girl, whose name has not been made public.
Although Sophie has continued to act since the conclusion of her HBO series Game Of Thrones, it is unknown where she has been or what has created the arrangement, which has apparently allowed Joe to take the lead.
That has meant that he has been managing solo parenting even as he tours as The Jonas Brothers with his brothers Nick and Kevin, and he is allegedly still the one with the children right now.
The couple tends to keep their personal lives private.
Sophie even delayed posting any images that showed her to be pregnant until after Willa was born, and she and Joe have spoken even less about their younger daughter.
There are few details on what happened between the couple, but they haven’t been seen together in public for months.
They were last seen together in April, when they were seen leaving a London afterparty where Jonas was DJing.
Early in the year, Joe and Sophie continued to go to public events together, but in recent weeks, the singer has been spotted alone without a wedding band.
The couple maintained their forceful demeanour, albeit not in the same manner.
Sophie had gone to a Jonas Brothers concert in Yankee Stadium, according to a witness who contacted Page Six just one day after Joe was observed without a wedding band on August 11.
She was apparently seen having a good time with Kevin’s wife Danielle Jonas and Nick’s wife Priyanka Chopra, even though she and Joe don’t seem to have been pictured together that evening.
Sophie doesn’t seem to have gone to any more Jonas Brothers concerts after that.
An unexpected subsequent apparition of Joe’s wedding ring complicated the scene slightly.
On August 21, he was seen out and about with the group once more.
On August 24, he was wearing the ring as the Jonas Brothers were performing in Detroit, Michigan.
The couple paid a cool $15 million for their Miami property three months ago, but only after they had to reduce the asking price by $2 million to move it.
The two had only purchased it two years prior for $11 million, so that was still a sizable profit for them.
Since selling up their mansion, Joe and Sophie may have moved, although it’s unknown where.
They previously bought a property in New York City for $5.6 million in 2018, but it’s not clear if the condo was actually sold.
In 2020, they apparently advertised it for $5.9 million.
When Joe and Sophie were repeatedly photographed together and were captured kissing in November at a Kings of Leon concert that took place before the MTV Europe Music Awards, their relationship was first publicly revealed in 2016.
By December, sources had established their romance, and the couple made their relationship known when Sophie posted a picture of Joe on Instagram in January 2017.
In October 2017, Joe and Sophie made their engagement public.
In 2019, they tied the knot in a last-minute ceremony at the renowned Las Vegas wedding location, A Little White Wedding Chapel.
They then admitted that they hadn’t informed their parents beforehand, but their secret was discovered thanks to their visitor Diplo, who used his phone to webcast the ceremony.
Sophie and Joe’s first child, a daughter named Willa, was born in July 2020.Before the baby was born, she didn’t post any pictures of her growing belly, and it wasn’t until September of that year that she started uploading old pictures from her pregnancy.
Originally headquartered in Los Angeles, the pair moved to Miami in September 2021 after selling their property on the West Coast.
The hope that their family will be able to move to England was expressed by Sophie to Elle UK in May of last year.

When Sophie shared a sweet selfie of herself and Joe wearing matching striped pyjamas to celebrate Joe’s 34th birthday on August 15 of this year, she didn’t show any signs of marital discord.
