Even Hollywood A-listers aren’t immune to local bureaucracy.

James Corden, the Gavin & Stacey star, has found himself at odds with Camden Council over paving slabs outside his £11.5 million North London mansion.

The comedian had laid them down to create a neat spot for his bins, but neighbours and preservation groups were far from impressed, calling the work “unsightly” and “detrimental to the character” of the conservation area.

Corden’s team insisted it was “minor landscaping,” yet council officials weren’t having it.

In a detailed seven-page report, they demanded the hard landscaping be removed and any damage repaired by January 6 — or risk formal enforcement action.

Attempts to sweeten the deal with four newly planted trees fell flat, as locals worried the trees were too close together to thrive, and that two mature acer trees might be endangered.

Ancient Stones Causing Modern Headaches

Corden’s bin troubles aren’t his only heritage-related headache.

Campaigners in Jersey have requested the return of a 5,000-year-old stone circle currently on his Oxfordshire estate.

The druidic relic, given to a previous homeowner in 1788, has sparked debate over its rightful home.

Corden has said he’s willing to help, but UK heritage authorities are hesitant to move the ancient stones.

Hugh Bonneville’s Bond Dreams Fall Short

Meanwhile, Hugh Bonneville found his James Bond cameo didn’t quite live up to expectations.

The 25-year-old model and actress will appear on the cover of Re-Edition magazine, though off-set she’s embracing comfort over glamour — spotted cozying up with a hot-water bottle.

Emma Watson and Malala Yousafzai Plan a Punting Adventure

Oxford might be seeing a rather special boating duo soon: Emma Watson and Malala Yousafzai.

The longtime friends, who first met in 2015, are planning a punting trip down the River Cherwell.

“I’ve never been in a boat with Malala, but that’s something we should do… I’m actually a mean punter,” Watson admitted.

The pair also enjoy exploring Oxford’s café scene together, making the outing as much about friendship as it is about fun.

Gary Lineker, the former BBC golden boy, might be eyeing a new chapter.

He was spotted deep in conversation over a four-hour lunch with Sky News presenter Yalda Hakim at Town Restaurant in Central London.

Speculation is rife: could Yalda be recruiting him to Sky, or is he gearing up for the rumored Netflix role covering the 2027 Women’s World Cup? Either way, fans are watching closely for his next move.
