India logs 317,532 new COVID-19 infections

NEW DELHI, 20th January, 2022 – India saw a 317,532 rise in COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 38.

According to the health ministry, the death toll in the country reached 487,693 with 491 new fatalities recorded.
