In a head-on collision on Landies Hill, just outside of Boston, KZN, an Israeli family was injured

Multiple calls were received by Midlands EMS for a head-on collision on Landies Hill, just outside of Boston KZN.

When Midlands EMS Advanced life support paramedics arrived, they discovered that one patient was seriously entrapped in the vehicle and multiple patients were injured.

They stabilised the patient before extricating the patient with the jaws of life. Several more individuals suffered slight to serious injuries and were treated on the scene.

All of the patients were treated on the scene before being taken to other hospitals for additional treatment.

Local authorities are investigating the actual cause of the collision.
