Images: Pitso Mosimane sends special gift to Bafana star

Pitso Mosimane has sent SuperSport United and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams an Al Ahly jersey. Just a replica jersey? Not really.

AL AHLY COACH PITSO MOSIMANE GIFTS RONWEN WILLIAMS

We haven’t really seen this one before. A coach sending out his team’s jersey as a gift to his former player. That’s not all. The said jersey has Pitso Mosimane’s name on it, as well as a signature.
The signature was also presented in a unique way. The jersey packaging includes a well-designed paper that resembles those that come with education qualifications. The note next to the signature says “Dear Ronwen Williams. Changing the game, for good.”
The SuperSport United goalie, whose unbelievable ability is arguably not recognised as it probably should in local football, posted the images via social media on Wednesday. It is also clear to notice that the coach known as “Jingles” chose himself a jersey number, which is number 10.
Check out the post below as shared on Twitter.
“Thank you so much for the wonderful gift coach Pitso. I’ll definitely be wearing it when your team Al Ahly represents Africa at the FIFA Club World Cup, all the best, well wishes to you,” the Gqeberha-born star said.

SUNDOWNS TO FACE MOSIMANE AND TAU WITH AL AHLY IN THE CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

As The South African previously confirmed, the South African champions were drawn in Group A of the 2021/22 CAF CL showpiece. The group includes the Egyptian giants, Sundowns, and a bit oddly, the two Sudanese clubs Al Hilal and Al-Merrikh.
The game that matters the most, with Mosimane and Tau, will be on Friday 25 February against Al Ahly.
