During breakfast with her fellow housemates, the 18-year-old youth worker came out as transgender, expressing a desire to be true to herself and her identity.
She stated, “I just have something to say. Yesterday I feel like I wasn’t being 100% authentic in myself. I thought I’d let everyone know I’m trans, if you didn’t know already.
I just thought I’d make that loud and clear. I’m a trans woman if you didn’t know.”

Hallie’s fellow housemates immediately rallied around her, offering support and encouragement.
They commended her bravery for sharing her truth, with Chanelle remarking, “Good for you.
That’s very brave of you,” and Dan describing the moment as significant.

She expressed her intention to use the winnings to complete her transition, particularly mentioning her desire for a “designer vagina.”

Hallie’s journey toward her transition began at the age of 16 when she started Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), which includes testosterone blockers and estrogen.
She explained the daily routine of applying a gel as part of her treatment.
