Music composer and reality star Lebo released a statement in response to the abuse allegations levelled against his former stepson Mthunzi “Shogun” Ngani today (3 February).
THE ABUSE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST SHOGUN
Lebo M’s former stepson Shogun has been accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend Ashleigh Ogle’s home. Ashleigh also accused Shogun of trying to get physical with her and their child. She shared a video attempting to break into her home on her Instagram story.
“He hurt himself trying to get to me and my daughter,” she wrote.
“When I asked him to leave, he got in my face and I fell on my bed and he got on top of me while his mother watched him hold me down and that’s where I got the wound, I was trying to get away,” she said on her Instagram story.

Shogun has also responded to the allegations via a lengthy Instagram post.
“It’s heartbreaking to see how much damage we have caused each other. All I ever wanted was to see you become everything I saw you to be,” he wrote.
“We were not the most orthodox relationship but God knows damn well we tried very hard. We both don’t deserve this,” he continued.

LEBO M: ‘I’M NOT SURPRISED THAT ANGELA WATCHED AND DID NOTHING’
Shogun’s mother Angela Ngani-Casara, and Lebo M had an on-and-off relationship for 12 years which makes Shogun Lebo M’s stepson. Lebo M released a statement addressing the allegations.
Lebo M blamed Shogun’s mother for the violence.
“I am deeply saddened by the news about my former stepson Mthuzi Ngani’s attack on you, in the presence of your minor child. I’m not surprised that Angela watched and did nothing about it while in your bedroom, at your home. I read all your painful words and reflected a painful soundtrack to the gruesome video you posted,” he wrote.
“My deep concern for such violence on you Ms. Ogle in the presence of your minor child is a direct reflection of Angela’s violence Mthunzi would have experienced as a child and more,” he continued.
