During her music career, Iggy Azalea has felt “utterly deprived of a personal life.”

The 32-year-old rapper has resorted to social media to provide guidance to aspiring musicians, acknowledging that her own route to fame and success has not been easy.

Azalea, who moved to the United States from Australia when she was a teenager to pursue her music career, wrote on the microblogging site, “Here’s the thing I believe everyone working hard for a dream should know.

“On the path to your objective, there will be times when you feel nuts, devoid of a personal life, and as if everything is falling apart. When you achieve your objective, you will still have these times. It’s typical. (sic)”

Azalea said in 2021 that she would be taking “a few years” away from music to focus on “other creative ventures.”

However, the rap star later confirmed via Twitter her return to the music world.

She stated online, “A year ago, I was ready to leave music because I had become weary of the negativity it garnered.

“However, what I’ve learned is that even when I’m minding my own business, you’ll be negative AND nosy.

“Therefore, if I cannot enjoy peace, neither can you. I’m going to return. Lament over it. (sic)”

Earlier this year, Azalea returned to touring alongside Pitbull.

And the “Fancy” singer, who has a two-year-old son named Onyx with her ex-boyfriend Playboi Carti, later acknowledged to enjoying the experience and praised Pitbull and his team for being so “nice” to her son.

She tweeted, “Both of our touring teams get along so wonderfully. Everyone on both sides genuinely enjoys themselves, and everyone is EXTREMELY friendly to my youngster. Simply put, I’m thrilled to be a part of this environment! (sic)”
