LLOYISO’S MUSICAL SUCCESS

After leaving Idols SA, Lloyiso matriculated from Muir College and kicked off his career as a singer-songwriter. He signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2018 and released incredible songs like Nontsikelelo and Intlizyo featuring Langa Mavuso.

“They said they were interested in my music and after that phone call, I cried and even now I still get emotional when I talk about that day. So afterward I called my mom and told her what’s happening,” he told Drum at the time.

During the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, Lloyiso kept himself busy by posting videos on TikTok of him singing covers of popular songs. The 22-year-old was discovered by Republic Records and has since released two songs under the American record label.
