…By Henry George for TDPel Media. Human rights activist and supporter of the Labour Party (LP), SarkiB, expressed gratitude to God for surviving a horrifying accident.
In a Twitter post, he shared the details of how he narrowly escaped death while traveling to Nasarawa State after accompanying the factional chairman of LP, Lamidi Apapa, to court.
Despite his car being irreparably damaged, SarkiB emerged from the accident unharmed.
Mockery and Denial of Party Chairmanship
Following the accident, netizens flocked to SarkiB’s comment section to ridicule him, likely due to a curse that Apapa had placed on whoever removed his cap in court.
In response to the mockery, SarkiB warned those who made derogatory remarks about karma that they would face consequences the following day, boldly challenging Apapa to attend court.
Additionally, Apapa himself addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his role within the Labour Party.
During an interview with Arise TV, he clarified that he had never claimed to be the national chairman of the party.
He asserted that he was merely serving as the acting national chairman, refuting any misunderstandings or misconceptions about his position.
Invitation for LP National Chairmanship
Apapa further emphasized that if Julius Abure successfully resolved the court cases against him, he would be more than welcome to assume the position of LP national chairman.
This statement implied that Apapa’s role as acting national chairman was temporary, pending the resolution of the legal matters involving Abure.
In summary, SarkiB, a human rights activist and LP supporter, expressed gratitude to God for surviving a serious accident while traveling.
Meanwhile, Lamidi Apapa clarified his position within the Labour Party, stating that he was acting national chairman and would willingly step aside if the legal issues were resolved in favor of Julius Abure.
