As a result of the collision, Jamie Burns suffered serious injuries and required airlifting to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridgeshire.

In March 2024, Mistry was sentenced to four years and ten months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
