Hagrid from the “Harry Potter” movie, Robbie Coltrane, died at 72.

Robbie Coltrane, known for his role as Hagrid in the “Harry Potter” film series, passed away on Friday, according to Deadline.

He had 72 years of age.

Coltrane, who also appeared in two “James Bond” films, passed away in a hospital near his home in Larbert, Scotland, according to his agency.

Coltrane representatives did not react immediately to Insider’s request for comment.
