Guysborough and Cheticamp will benefit from investments to help bring people back to public spaces safely

he Government of Canada invests more than $127,000 in two community shared spaces to stimulate local economies, create jobs, and improve the quality of life of Canadians.

Municipality of the District of Guysborough Upgrade Main Street in Canso, as well as the downtown park and waterfront areas, including new signage at the community entrance and along the main street corridor; beautifying Sailor’s Rest downtown park by installing new signage and clearing out vegetation; and the creation of a Stan Rogers-themed Geocache experience to encourage residents and visitors to explore the community. $103,781
