Guinea’s opposition has threatened to hold demonstrations against the country’s transitional authorities over poor management.
The development comes days after the opposition urged the military junta to issue a list of all its members for the ‘purpose of transparency.
’
The National Front for the Defence of the Constitution, FNDC, said “the transition was going off course.
”
The duration of Guinea’s transitional process remains unknown.
There was a document that proposed a four-year transition that leaked, but the authorities did not comment.
The opposition group wants “clarity on who is part of the junta and the duration of the transitional process.
”
It compared the situation to Burkina Faso where the coup happened four months after the Guinea’s and a committee was set up and a timetable of the transition published.
