‘Gomora’: Inside all the drama at Thati and Phumlani’s glamorous wedding

The couple tied the knot last night (1 March) in a lavish ceremony.

Gomora fans and #TeamThati is wishing her a happily-ever-after with her new husband – Phumlani Ndaba – who also happens to be her late husband’s brother.

Gomora’s couple – Thati and Phumlani (Buyile Mdladla) finally got married in last night’s episode after many interruptions.

A fan asked the question:

“Guys, does Phumlani love Thati or it’s all part of revenge? #Gomora.”

This is because Phumlani lives a double life as a good guy to his family and friends and a criminal behind closed doors.

He appeared out of the blue and they rekindled a friendship that turned into a romantic relationship.

Phumlani is also now super-rich, orders hits on anyone he dislikes and nobody knows where his money is coming from.

Thati and Melusi have always loved each other and fans think they’ll get back together once she divorces Phumlani.

They believe that Thati doesn not love with him and was pressured by her mother and her daughter to marry him.

This week, viewers will witness the drama that’s set to unfold at the wedding as the couple exchanges their vows.

Viewers of the telenovela were surprised to learn that Thati’s late husband – Mbogeni Ndaba has a secret child – Gugu Ndaba who he’s been hiding from her for years when they were married.

Gugu interrupted the wedding and asked her uncle to not marry Thati as she was married her father before.

She also believes that Thati (Katlego Danke) is the reason she didn’t receive any inheritance when her father passed away.

Fans of the show were not surprised when Thati’s former lover and baby daddy – Melusi stopped the wedding because he’s still in love with her.

They were however embarrassed for Melusi’s wife – Gladys (Thembi Seete) who attended the wedding and witnessed her husband declaring his feeling for another woman.
