Georgia Toffolo Calls Husband James ‘Completely Mad’ for Defying Doctor’s Advice and Running the 2025 London Marathon Despite Severe Injury in London

Georgia Toffolo has opened up about her husband’s decision to run the 2025 London Marathon, even after doctors strongly advised against it due to his painful injury.

James, who recently tied the knot with the former Made In Chelsea star, has been dealing with a bone injury and torn ligaments, yet he’s determined to take on the 26.2-mile challenge.

A Painful Journey to the Marathon

Despite the severity of his condition, James hasn’t let it stop him.

Georgia shared on social media that her husband had transformed their home into what she jokingly referred to as an “elite sports rehab centre” in a bid to recover in time for the race.

From hyperbaric chambers to foot injections, he’s tried it all.

James is now dedicated to giving the marathon a go, even if it means pushing through pain.

Georgia’s Instagram post captured her mixed feelings of admiration and disbelief.

She wrote, “He is completely mad, but he is giving it a go. After not being able to run for a month, somehow he’s heading to the start line of the London Marathon.

“You are mental, but maybe that’s why I married you. Good luck, my love. We will all be cheering you on.”

The ‘Wife Duties’ Behind the Scenes

Georgia also took the opportunity to reveal how she’s been supporting James during his recovery.

Taking her love for biohacking to a new level, she’s been doing everything from yoga classes (which, she jokingly mentioned, was the only way to get James on the mat) to grounding sessions in the backyard.

“Snacks delivered like clockwork” and even singing to him in the hyperbaric chamber are just a few of the unique ways she’s helping him heal.

With less than 24 hours to go before the marathon, Georgia joked about running out of time and ideas.

“Drop any last-minute miracle cures below, we’re desperate. And yes, we’re willing to try anything,” she posted, embracing the chaos with a sense of humor.

A Whirlwind Romance and Wedding

Georgia and James, who got engaged in October 2024, certainly didn’t take the conventional route.

James popped the question with a stunning £200,000, eight-carat triple-diamond ring during a romantic birthday getaway to Greece.

Their wedding was just as spontaneous—James confirmed the big day on Instagram with a cryptic post: “Georgia and I got married today.”

The ceremony took place in Gardenstown, Northeast Scotland, on March 1, 2025, with only 48 hours’ notice to guests.

The event was intimate and personal, with a special nod to tradition, as it was held in the same church where James’ grandparents had married.

And with the marathon just around the corner, it seems that James and Georgia’s adventure is far from over.
