Gen T.Y Danjuma Commision a Paediatric Hospital In Takum, Taraba

 
The Taraba born retired Gen Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, has built and commissioned a Paediatric Hospital In Takum local government area of Taraba State.

The hospital named Kuru Danjuma Hospital For Children, was built at the same vicinity with the Rufkatu Danjuma Maternity Hospital, and was commissioned by the Minister for Health Dr Osagie Ehanire.

Commissioning the facility the Minister of health described it as a world class health care delivery facility and lauded Gen TY Danjuma for complementing government effort at providing health facility to the people.

On his part, the Taraba State Governor Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku described Gen TY Danjuma as an asset to the state.

According to him, the early constructed Maternity Hospital by Gen TY Danjuma is compared to non and that it has been rendering effective health care delivery services for the people of the state, especially those at the Takum axis.

He reitrated the commitment of his administration in partnering with the anyone with development idea in the interest of the state and commended the role Gen TY Danjuma’s foundation is playing in the development of the state and her people.

In his remarks the retired Gen TY Danjuma said facility was a state of the art special facility that would enhanced the health of the children.

According to him, the construction of the kuru Danjuma hospital for children in addition to the Rufkatu Danjuma Maternity which was commissioned in 2017, was driving by passion and commitment of his foundation in ensuring healthy mothers and children across the country.

The occasion was attended by top government functionaries from within and outside Taraba State.
