Gary Neville admits struggling the next day after partying until 3:30am at David Beckham’s four-day 50th birthday bash in London

You know how some weekends start with a casual dinner and end with you barely making it to work the next day?

Well, that pretty much sums up Gary Neville’s recent experience.

The former Manchester United star found himself recovering on the sidelines after attending David Beckham’s epic 50th birthday celebration.

Beckham Pulls Out All the Stops for His Big 5-0

David Beckham didn’t just have a party—he threw a four-day extravaganza to ring in his milestone birthday.

The celebrations kicked off in style, from glamorous dinners to international getaways.

One of the standout events was an elegant dinner at Core, a high-end restaurant in London with three Michelin stars.

Among the A-list crowd? Gary Neville, who showed up in a crisp white tux.

He rubbed shoulders with big names like Eva Longoria, Tom Cruise, and Gordon Ramsay. Clearly, this wasn’t your average birthday dinner.

“Worse for Wear” But Still on the Job

Neville shared a bit about the aftermath during a chat on The Overlap, the podcast he co-hosts alongside fellow football legends Roy Keane, Jill Scott, and Ian Wright.

Jill Scott kicked things off with a cheeky observation:

“Saw some pictures of you at the party—you looked a bit worse for wear.”

Neville didn’t deny it. “That was before Sunday’s game,” he admitted.

“I wasn’t the best on Sunday.”

Turns out, he left the party around 3:30 a.m.—and was back on duty that same day, calling the Chelsea vs. Liverpool game for Sky Sports.

Hollywood Glitz and a Missing Guest List

When Scott asked if he mingled with Tom Cruise, Neville said he was “loosely” around the movie star.

But Roy Keane had a more pressing question—where were the rest of Beckham’s former United teammates?

“Was it just you? Did he forget the rest of us?” Keane joked.

Neville laughed it off and reminded Keane, “Maybe it’s because you didn’t invite us to your 50th.”

Pizza vs. Paris

That led to some classic Keane humor. “You know mine was at Pizza Express in Altrincham,” he quipped, adding with a grin, “I didn’t want you there anyway.”

In contrast, Beckham’s bash was a globe-trotting affair: a black-tie event in Miami, a cozy family gathering at his countryside mansion in the Cotswolds, wine-tasting in Bordeaux, and a classy dinner in Paris. Safe to say, it was a birthday to remember.

Interestingly, Beckham had given a heartfelt speech earlier this year at Neville’s 50th celebration—a sign that even in the glitz and glam, the long-standing friendship still holds strong.
